[RuashiSAS, a subsidiary of Jinchuan International (02362), has reached a contract for the construction of a hydrometallurgical system for the Musonoi project] Jinchuan International (02362) recently announced that its subsidiary RuashiSAS and Concreate have reached a further construction contract for the construction of a hydrometallurgical system for the Musonoi project. The system is designed to process 140 kilotons/year of copper-cobalt sulphide concentrate and 300 kilotons/year of oxide ore.

The Musonoi project is located in Kolwezi, the mining center of Luaraba Province in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and its license is held by RuashiSAS. So far, the project has completed scope studies, pre-feasibility studies and feasibility studies. At present, the construction of underground ramps has been completed and the mine installation project is about to be completed.
